„New York Reunion” was originally recorded in 1991 for Chesky Records and is one of the most exciting gatherings in the history of the renowned audiophile label. Directed by the legendary McCoy Tyner, who rose to fame with the John Coltrane Quartet, the incomparable tenor saxophonist Joe Henderson, the fantastic double bassist Ron Carter and the extraordinary drummer Al Foster came together for a joint session. The quartet reveals its extraordinary synergy through a remarkable mix of jazz standards and original compositions.
