Who is hidden behind the name "Jacques C" ? An artist who began in the 90's, playing for independent Sweedish bands influenced by the post punk scene and the British new wave (Joy Division, Sisters of Mercy, My Bloody Valentine and The Wedding Present). He was indeed influenced by the French Touch as Cassius, Daft Punk and Arnaud Rebotini. His music proposes a wise mixture of these 2 influences. Key figure of the Scandanavian electronic music scene, Jacques C worked for a long time, through his Funk Noir label, with the great Sweedish DJ Tomas Andersson.
