Just finished recording the zombie zombie new album (out : april 2012), Etienne Jaumet gives up temporarily the duo to record a solo piece, as a need to find oneself again ... The word Satori designated spiritual awakening, the title track that has just composed Jaumet Etienne seems to describe the way of this awakening ... A winding and sometimes dark path... Taking a piece to both dark disco and synth wave (Etienne is partucularly keen of those genres, you can listen to his new mix for The Versatile Podcast as evidence : http://versatilerecords. com/podcast/etienne-jaumet-versatile-records-podcast-oct-11/ ) and also to some kind of trance ... On Side B, Jon Convex, newcomer on the Dubstep/UK Garage field and signed on Martyn's label, delivers a version clearly oriented club, by injecting syncopated beat and the funky groove unique to UK Garage.
