After releases for Perlon, Ovum, Music For Freaks and Mule Electronic, Goldmann started his pathbreaking label Macro two years ago, proving effectively his understanding of reduced but sensual Elektronika that broadens the listener’s horizon with remixes for Pete Namlook or with an edit of Russian-French ballet expressionist Igor Strawinsky’s “Le Sacre du Printemps". On his debut for Cocoon, the skilled phonetician draws a mysterious but irresistible intersection from mild acid citations, dub-infected Minimal House, Francophil sound aesthetics and pumping bass kicks; almost ten minutes of hypnotical and opulent cinemascope broadband House, which should have a special mind-opening function, especially when received open air.
