Janet Perkins, the school secretary of St. Gertrude's, announces that junior-school life has finally got her down. Realising that desperate measures are called for, the head sends her on a commando-style training course to revitalise her. Unfortunately, to the horrible criminal minds of Hairy Harry the Hatchet Man and his nasty cronies, a collection of school secretaries is an opportunity for skulduggery not to be missed. But Mrs Perkins is on the warpath with some tactics of her own.
