Cantus Annae: Riga Cathedral Organ & Chamber Music Ezeriete, ieva / Reinis, aigars

This road to spirituality leads listeners to experience new horizons and depths and every step, every composition, merges into a single, essential awareness. All works on this album are world premiere recordings. 'This recording has given us the opportunity to celebrate compositions that have been written specifically for us - not only us as a musical ensemble, but also us as specific people. We are happy that our collaboration with composers Rihards Dubra, Santa Ratniece and Rihards Zalupe has resulted in wonderful music - vivid, varied and expressive. This is music that is very important to us musicians. Now, recorded on CD, it can reach new listeners in Latvia and abroad, and maybe new interpreters of this music will be found, thereby opening ever new vistas and horizons.'
