Ella Burkhardt, the German-Swedish singer from Schleswig-Holstein, began her career with a bang when she performed with Nils Landgren at JazzBaltica 2017. Even as a schoolgirl, she amazed and thrilled audiences, whether at “Jugend Jazzt” or when she appeared on stage with her father Ingolf Burkhardt, trumpeter with the NDR Big Band. She began her musical journey at the age of six on the piano, followed by her first singing lessons at 13. The promising artist studied jazz singing in Maastricht and has already sung in a wide variety of groups, whether with a big band or alone with her guitar.
