KingJam Records is delighted to add an exciting new artist on to their roster, the wildly talented Franky Afrika who brings his own style of modern hip-hop to their exclusive stable. Franky, who was born to an Ethiopian mother and a Nigerian father, has a decidedly Afro-centric vibe that adds a unique element to his brand of hip-hop. He is working on finishing up his first album, and the results of which will no doubt attract a wide audience with his hypnotic voice and the rhythms he brings from Mother Africa. The first single to be released from his eagerly anticipated full-length is a personal anthem of sorts, and a great introduction to his deeply funky music. That first single, The Motherland (Africa) features the original mix which will appear on the album, an extended mix, plus bonus instrumental and acappella versions. .
