Big band leader and composer Les Brown is best known for his nearly seven decades of work with the group Les Brown and His Band of Renown (1938-2001). Brown and his band performed with virtually every major performer of their time, including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and Nat "King" Cole. Presented here is a fine collection of Les Brown and his orchestra performing songs from Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Count Basie, Woody Herman and other greats. All selections newly re-mastered.
