Whit Dickey has been a quiet but brilliant presence on the New York avant-jazz scene since his discographical debut in 1991. Most frequently Dickey has teamed up with Matthew Shipp and here they are in a pair of contexts, the first disc a duo, the second a trio with the addition of Nate Wooley, recorded by Jim Clouse at Park West Studios, Brooklyn NY on June 29 (CD 1) and March 27, 2019 (CD 2).
