The hugely popular BBC drama series (Netflix outside the UK) A Suitable Boy is an epic tale of life and love based on the classic novel of the same name by Vikram Seth set in vibrant 1950s India.

The score is composed by Alex Heffes and Anoushka Shankar. Golden Globe nominated composer Alex Heffes has over 60 film and TV scores to his name, including One Day In September, The Last King Of Scotland and BAFTA-winning Touching The Void. Anoushka Shankar is a singular, genre-defying figure within the classical and contemporary, acoustic and electronic world music scenes as a sitarist, composer and producer. Her dynamic and spiritual musicality has garnered several prestigious accolades, including six Grammy® Award nominations.
