Durand Jones & the Indications
Durand Jones & The Indications' new album "Flowers" marks a return to their roots, with much of it written in guitarist Blake Rhein's Chicago studio and inspired by their early days in a Bloomington basement. The band aimed to capture the spirit of their beginnings while incorporating the growth and experiences they've gained over the years.
As frontman Durand Jones explains, the album touches on topics the band hadn't explored before, influenced by their experiences in their 30s and the ups and downs of life. The album's title symbolizes this period of blossoming and self-discovery.
