2014. gada decembrī Manic Street Preachers devās turnejā pa Lielbritāniju, kur pirmo – un, iespējams, pēdējo – reizi pilnībā atskaņoja savu karjeru definējošo albumu "The Holy Bible". Glāzgovas, Mančestras un Londonas koncertos Džeimss Dīns Bredfīlds, Nikijs Vairs un Šons Mūrs iegremdējās albuma tumšajā pasaulē par godu tā sākotnējās izdošanas 20. gadadienai un grupas leģendārajiem koncertiem Astoria, kas tika spēlēti saistībā ar albumu.

"The Holy Bible Live" tika ierakstīts trīs vakaros, kad grupa spēlēja Roundhouse zālē Londonā. Visas dziesmas no oriģinālā albuma tika izpildītas to pilnā, bezkompromisa formā un ir apkopotas šeit kā ideāls dokuments par grupu radošā kulminācijā – un par tās neatslābstošajām spējām kā dzīvajai grupai.

"The Holy Bible Live" ieraksti tika miksēti Deiva Eringas vadībā mēnešos pēc koncertiem. Nav nekādu pārskaņojumu – tikai trio skaņa, kas plēšas cauri klasiskam albumam, ko pavada apvienotās publikas balsis, kas dzied katru vārdu atpakaļ uz skatuvi.
