You Can Live Forever

Sarah Watts and Mark Slutsky co-direct this Canadian romantic drama following a forbidden relationship between teenagers Jaime (Anwen O'Driscoll) and Marike (June Laport). When Jaime's father dies, she is sent to live with her aunt and uncle who are loyal Jehovah's Witnesses. Jaime is at first reluctant to join their congregation, until she meets Marike, the daughter of the Witness Elder.

Jaime and Marike's curiosity in the bounds of their friendship soon transcends into a forbidden romance, which they must keep hidden from their families or face being exiled from their insular community. However, as Jamie and Marike's secret becomes harder to keep, the pair have difficult decisions to make when they are faced with a choice between faith and love.
