Roman Polanski directs this absurdist cult comedy starring Sydne Rome as a young American woman who, while travelling through Italy, falls into all sorts of sexual scrapes and seductions. After escaping an attempted sexual assault, innocent American traveller Nancy (Rome) flees to a beachside villa filled with an assortment of bizarre characters including other American tourists, nurses, a priest, and an ex-pimp named Alex (Marcello Mastroianni).
