The third filming of Arthur Richman's 1922 Broadway play is a charm, with Cary Grant and Irene Dunne portraying Jerry and Lucy Warriner, a bickering married couple who've lost trust in each other. After agreeing to a trial divorce, Jerry and Lucy realize independently that they'd like to win the other back... and all the stops are pulled out in an effort to monkey-wrench the other's latest romances.
