Over Downeast Maine
Beginning with Penobscot Bay and continuing eastwards to the Canadian border, the downeast area of Maine is a rugged, often desolate region. Sparsely populated and largely undeveloped, it is a place of rocky shorelines, vast blueberry barrens and a scattered assortment of small towns and villages. But downeast is also a region of spectacular, unparalleled beauty, as captured from a bird's eye view in Over Downeast Maine. Using helicopter-mounted cameras, this film captures the breathtaking sights of this extraordinary portion of the coast. No matter where in the world you may be, this unforgettable documentary will allow you to forever cherish and revisit this place of unique and remarkable beauty.
