On "Captain Amar", Stiggenasty interprets a wildly diverse selection of songs that have shaped him – from Alice Cooper and Slim Rhodes (Sun Records) to Psychic TV, The Nuns and Finnish cult favourites Hearthill. With inspiration from shock rock, punk, experimental art-rock, rockabilly and gothic doom, the release comes together to form a turbocharged and personal statement.

The EP was produced by Nick Foss and was created in collaboration with an impressive team of contributors, including: Sune Rose Wagner (The Raveonettes), Peter Sandorff (Hola Ghost, ex-Nekromantix), Lars Top-Galia (Sort Sol), and special guest violinist Ufo Mustonen, reprising his original performance from 1988.

The result is raw, immediate and uncompromisingly alive – an album created without overthinking, driven by emotion rather than formula.

Up until the release of "Captain Amar", limited 12" singles from the album have also been released, which you can also find at iMusic.
