Africa Express, the genre-defying musical collective founded by Damon Albarn, presents a brand new album, their first in 6 years.

Recorded in Mexico after their headline performance at the Bahidorá Festival in 2024, the album encapsulates the spirit of cross-cultural collaboration. Over 30 artists from four continents converged to create 21 tracks that blend cumbia, hip-hop, kuduro, soul, salsa, and pop. The album features a diverse lineup, including Damon Albarn, Fatoumata Diawara, Moonchild Sanelly, Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Joan As Police Woman, and emerging talents like Mare Advertencia and Luisa Almaguer.
