As the brand name might suggest, Vinegar Syndrome is a film distributor with an edge. At the same time, the name is also a term for the chemical reaction that deteriorates film over time, something they try to combat by restoring and preserving films - including obscure old films that have hardly been on many others' radars. They primarily focus on restoring and reissuing films released between the 1960s and 1980s.
