Mark Linkous' brother and sister have been extremely protective and careful in preservering Mark's music since his passing. So it's with the utmost respect and consideration for his work, that they are willing to release the post-humous album, Bird Machine.

Mark Linkous was a momentous songwriter, his legacy only strengthened in the years since his passing. Noted for his darkly beautiful lyrics and unhurried music, his first three albums under the moniker Sparklehorse (Vivadixiesubmarinetransmissionplot / Good Morning Spider / It's a Wonderful Life) are now considered modern classics in indie rock.
