Tim Adams

Foundational Doctrines of the Christian Faith Tim Adams

The common misperception about Bible doctrine is that such teaching is boring. Dr. Adams brings to life and interest ten major Bible Doctrines from God's Word. You will not be bored with this compelling book. The first chapter discusses why the question, "Where did God come from," does not fit reality any more than "What does the color blue smell like?" How about the question in Chapter Two which asks, "If Jesus Christ had died on the cross but was never raised from the dead, could we be saved?" Thorough answers are given to provocative questions about God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, Satan, Man, Salvation, the Church, the Bible, and Prophecy. The inclusion of the chapter on Prayer, suggesting that prayer is the Christian's greatest expression of dependency on God, is priceless. It exceeds most doctrinal studies that rarely touch the subject. This book would be incredibly useful to teach in small group Bible studies or in a whole congregational setting. Help your life to be "grounded and settled" in the truth so that you would not be "so soon moved" to another gospel (Colossians 1:23 and Galatians 1:6).
