Vamone Vallistis is just a young boy with famous parents, and no real desire to find his own fame. He is forced into a dangerous, yet adventurous life after a traumatic event forces him away from home. He has to face a magical world full of unknown horrors while a mysterious plague is slowly ripping his world apart. He makes a surly new friend who keeps him company and helps him learn how to survive such unforgivable circumstances. He sees the darkest parts of the world around him. After a time he learns a small piece of his destiny. Can he persevere under so much pressure to succeed? Only time will tell.
