My brain worked better than the average woman's, I was a certifiable genius. Awesome right? It's really not. I had no friends growing up, I didn't know how to socialize with people my age, or of any age really. All this meant that when the base player came looking for a date my first choice was to turn him down. I didn't have the social or emotional toolbox to deal with all that was Jace Montgomery. Especially not when he ghosted me, like he swore to me he'd never do. Once bitten, twice shy. My brain worked better than the average mans, I was a certifiable genius. Thankfully for me my parents thought socializing with my peers was just as important as being hella smart. I could have graduated at fourteen but I wouldn't have any friends. I was given the opportunity to play sports and graduate with my friends. Joining the Royal Canadian Air Force was one of the best decisions of my life. How else would I meet the beautiful and equally intelligent Rachel Cash? Too bad one mission gone wrong erased her from my life.
