I had no idea what I was signing up for when I agreed to run the facility but I am glad I did. I was planted at Lovetown by destiny. There were lessons I needed to learn, and attitudes I needed to change. There were facts of life and death I needed to experience firsthand. There were new relationships to build and tender loving kindness and compassion to share with people who appreciate the kindness. It was perfectly timed too, for soon like sand through the hourglass I will be where these residents are currently. So there I was absorbing the wisdom of the aged and reflecting on my sunset years.
