A journey of self-exploration, through the lens of an outcast within the world of social outcasts. A black girl struggles to find her magic when it doesn't manifest the same way as her peers; she attempts to conform her energy to the surrounding forces. Throughout her journey, she finds herself both internalizing and creating trauma, drama, and negativity within herself and those around her. She searches for happiness in a world not designed for her to experience such joys. These poems are the deeply personal release of hate and cultivation of love towards American society, the black community, and the black self.
