My book Scarred but not Scared - is my journey to grace, it is a candid narration of my encounter with Stage 3 breast cancer. This is the story of an ordinary woman who had courageously gone through an extraordinary experience in the fight against breast cancer and have survived through the Grace of God Almighty. The memoir describes the excruciating experiences breast cancer survivals go through, and how I have emerged wiser and stronger. The book is also about using cancer as a life changing experience despite all the trauma and deaths associated with the disease - the change does not have to be a death sentence. It is for us to understand the choices we should make when faced with such life-threatening situations and to choose to accept what we cannot change, and ultimately to have faith and trust in God for divine healing.
