As he moved from behind me to get a better view of his captive wife, I shook my head to help my hair fall in place, tried to move my lips and manoeuvre the cloth out of my mouth, out from behind my teeth with my tongue, but it was no use. The cloth had been pulled so tightly, I could feel it cutting into the corners of my mouth and my cheeks. My lips were on show but my power of speech had been taken away from me yet again. Thoroughly bound and gagged and utterly helpless, I looked at Ravi who was standing in front of me, by the door. He smirked, gave himself a little rub, then turned off the light and left the room, shutting the door behind him.
