Using simple poetic form and verse, "Who is Really in Charge?" walks a child through questions that most children have about everyday life, leading into the "larger" questions of where everything came from, what has real value and what does Hashem ask us to do.

The book presents a number of mitzvos that children know and follow, showing how each is connected to listening to Hashem, bringing G-dly light to the world and preparing the world for Moshiach.

The book outlines each of the mitzvos, in a language and form that is easy for children to understand. The book shows children how they can follow these commandments, how they can explain them to their friends and others, and how these commandments fit together to make a more perfect world. Once everyone has accepted G-d as the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and is following these Divine laws, then G-d can begin the Messianic Era which will bring the eternal time of universal peace and prosperity in which all people will happily listen to and follow G-d's commands.
