Preaching can be difficult, but I follow the principle of the 4P's. Proper Preparation Produces better Presentations. This makes preaching easier as I try to display the word of God in building the church for the Lord Jesus. I do know that God called me to be a pastor and my heart's desire has been to take our people ever deeper into the Word of God. I am not content to skim the surface, but to mine the treasures of His Word and deliver them to our people so they can grow and "eat the meat" rather than stay on the "milk". I pray for each message to reach those who wish to grow deeper in the word of God, and this means evaluating the needs at the time I am to preach and to trust the Holy Spirit to direct what I have studied out of the Bible and to make it applicable. It is my hope that I am able to preach the whole counsel of God to my congregation.
