"Vocation of Family" focuses on the concept of vocation and its application to the family. It discusses about the etymological and biblical meaning of vocation, distinction between general and specific vocation, and the vocation of the family. The vocation of the family is founded on the sacramental bond of marriage. Marriage and family are institutions created by God. God calls man and woman to these relationships. Man and woman are expected to respond freely to the call of God. One aspect of the family's particular vocation is to inspire the children to discern and follow their own vocations from God, be it to marriage, single, priestly or religious life. Pope Francis says: "All vocations make their first steps in the family." (Vatican City, Nov. 8, 2014)
