The poetic genre of literature, in this collection of poems, is mirrored by the connection one should have, with their spirit. SPIRIT is a collection of original poetry, bringing to print, the conversation, thought processes, arguments and even the distress of the human spirit, the balancer of life. The spirit is the mediator to both the forces of heartbreak, and confusion, two emotions controlled by the other components of a human, the heart, and the mind. These poems are displayed in order, alphabetically arranged by titles, with their date stamp of origin attached to them. Despite the alphabetical arrangement, it is the poet's desire for the reader to use the pieces as a personal journal of sorts.
