This is the summation of their epic journey of life, death, and rebirth, while fighting the evil forces with whom the Catholic Church is involved: vampiros, vampiras, brujas, and brujos. We meet new White Vampiras, Lety, and Daniella; Brujo Mayor Gonzalo and Eduardo's wife, the Eagle Queen. She appears in Ajijic and throws Eduardo and Susana's relationship in jeopardy, while another relationship blossoms between Sant' Angelo, Johan, and the night vampire Julia. In their quest for understanding between good and evil and who they really are, the true evil appears as Nameless, a mysterious figure who tells Bekka an amazing story about why she is so enthralled with Demetrio. While Demetrio finally reaches the Third River in Mictlan; the only thing standing between him and his beloved Bekka. Rose, Demetrio's past lover, has to make a decision to stay with Itza, her lover, or join the other White Vampiras to save and fight for San Miguel de Allende and bring Demetrio back.
