The nine stories tell the story of that one day from different perspectives. He looked around the room for one last time. He was going to vacate this tiny cell which had been his home for a lifetime now. The bags were packed the night before. He was not sure where he would go from here..... After bidding adieu to everyone, he walked slowly towards the gate, almost as if he didn't want to leave. Once he was outside, he turned around and looked back at the prison where he had spent a good part of his life. Slowly he crossed the street and sat on the pavement. Who is this man sitting on the pavement with thoughts swirling in his head? You might think of him as a criminal. Or you might think he is just a nobody. But if you were to hear his stories, you might be forgiven for thinking he was a myth, a super hero.
