The Curious Cousins Club is off on another adventure but this time there are no thoughts of solving mysteries. Cinde, Clay, Lutie and Steena are headed to Gatlinburg, Tennessee with their parents and siblings for the joyous wedding of crazy Uncle Stef and Ronnie O'Reilly. Besides preparing for the wedding, their free time will be occupied by nothing but fun: whitewater rafting, horseback riding, the Ripley Aquarium, shopping, eating, Dollywood and especially hiking in the Smokey Mountains. However, intrigue has a way of finding the CCC even when they're not looking for it. This time, they find themselves smack dab in the middle of an ordeal that has both locals and tourists alarmed. A monstrous creature of the night has everyone spooked. Is it folklore or legend? The police think it's a hoax or perhaps a mischievous bear. The Curious Cousins come to know better when they encounter the beast personally. They set out to solve the case of the Creature from Clingman's Dome but fear a tragic end when Cinde goes missing, leaving behind no clues other than the tracks of the massive, two-legged monster.
