The Ledge of Creation, the halfway point between the Heavens and the Earth is, apparently, where the real magic happens. Mother Nature, it turns out, is a hardcore cycling fan. Bored with simply existing, the ancient force of nature demands that a race is to be held in her own backyard. And the first ever Tour de Ledge is born. Meanwhile, down on Earth, forty-year-old Derek Dacreson has lost everything. A mishap at a party, as well as the financial meltdown of 2008, has left the 'Duck of Wall Street' in trouble; his cars, his houses and his chicks are all gone, and to top it off his fiancée is heavily pregnant. Luckily, however, he still has his beloved cycling team, Team Cogs 'n' Clocks: a bunch of misfits that includes a crazy chef, a howling nutcase, a hyperactive exercise junky, a navigational genius, a brawny dude with a catapult and a farting legend. A trip to the mythical Ledge of Creation may hold the key to his return to fortune, but first Derek and his band of cycling brothers must race two other teams from Earth. Encounter thugs, cheats, pirates and, of course, the strange inhabitants who live on the Ledge ... there's even a dead one! Can Derek's team overcome the challenges that await them to help their leader and friend reclaim his lost fortune? Maybe, just maybe they can pull it off and win. But then again - this is Team Cogs 'n' Clocks we're talking about...
