The traditional Moscow Mule is made with vodka, lime juice and ginger beer. Over the years, people experimented with different liquors that can be used to make the cocktail. Presently, there are 16 variations of Moscow Mule depending on the liquors used to make it. Not to mention the number of variations based on the additional ingredients and garnishes. The Mexican Mule is no different. It is a Moscow Mule made with tequila. It has more ingredients than the classic Moscow Mule because aside from the tequila used in place of the vodka, it also has orange liqueur and jalapeño slices for that authentic Mexican taste.
