As a doctor, I am familiar with seeing death very near me, so much that I can even feel it when it gets close to a patient in critical condition or in agony. The experiences I narrate in this book are real. Throughout them, I felt death so close to me or to my loved ones, with love as an important factor in the process that they will be engraved in my mind and in my heart forever, because at the precise moment that life gave way to death, something transcendental happened. In all the cases, it was something that cannot be fully explained in the light of current knowledge, but which we can understand within the divine field of spirituality, as a transforming energy, and that have left a deep mark on me.
