A single mother has to be many things. She has to not only be everything a mother is- a nurse, a lawyer, a friend, a therapist, an advisor, a disciplinarian, a dietitian, and a bodyguard; but she has to do all this while also balancing her own personal demons, defeats and life decisions. On top of that, some of us end up having to step into fatherly roles and duties as well. I have been many things within my own right...many of which some have struggled to understand. Of these things some I am proud of, others I did purely to survive. Like I said a single mother has to be many things...to my long list of thing I had to be.... I was also on the run. Single Mother on the Run is the story of just that. It's the story of me...my story. So, as you turn these pages...expect to be shocked at some points, understanding at other... and yes, entertained. My life has been one hell of a ride so far and it's over yet!
