He delves into the many different "benefits" that can come with a disability. The book ties in aspects of the Spirituality of Baseball including the purpose and value of sacrificing and the metaphor of reaching home. Some seemingly silly subjects like a talking donkey are employed to not only lead to laughter but the wisdom behind it. The book may not make you cry but it sure should make you laugh, hopefully a lot.
