GOOD MANNERS IN ISLAM

Allah tabâraka wa ta`ala says in the Holy Quran: "Qul hal yastawi alladhin yaelamun walladhin la yaelamun".

Which means: "Say: Are those who know and those who do not know equivalent? [Az-Zumar Ayah 9].

The saints, people of truth, faithfulness, purity, those who obey Allah ta`ala completely, scholars who work, who fear Allah, who show piety, who prostrate and incline, who are embellished by good behavior, who have hastened to do good: they are embellished by good characters to lavish good. How many are we, whether we are individuals or families, whether we are rulers or governed, how fitting it is that we beautify ourselves by good behavior and that we hasten to do good.
