This book is about immigration, more precisely about diversity and integration of migrant media workers into the labor market; it is about expectations, disappointments, problems, and also solutions. It sheds light on how media workers experience their working conditions according to ethnic diversity. This book is a result of an interdisciplinary research project that brings together work in sociology, journalism, and media studies. Field studies have been carried out in newsrooms of two countries: Sweden and Germany.
