Hence in the middle of 2012, the Trimble Group, a global leader in the GPS market, agriculture, engineering, transportation, logistics, and software, purchased SketchUp. It is only natural that Trimble intended to turn SketchUp into an increasingly professional solution for creation and development for the AEC industry.
