Take You to the Central Axis of Beijing Liu Yang

From ancient times to the present, many ancient cities in China have developed continuously based on the urban axis. The central axis of Beijing, like a backbone, runs through the north and south of the city, and the urban layout of Beijing is thus unfolded. In 2012, the central axis of Beijing was included in China's preliminary list of World Heritage nominations, and it is expected to be inscribed in 2035. This book uses a page-turning picture book to introduce to the children how the central axis of Beijing was formed. What does it mean to Beijing City? In the long history of change, how many declines and prosperity has it witnessed? It restores the changes of the buildings on the central axis of the capital today, and understands the historical and cultural heritage, customs and folklore behind the buildings.
