This work highlights how a traumatic event can give the impetus for an inner search, for an apparently inappagable thirst of infinity. This thirst can be satisfied only by a call from God, which unfortunately can be ignored. The author reveals his doubts, his own unworthiness, until inevitably leaping into the unknown with a firm "Here I am!". He traces some fundamental stages of his life, in the form of testimony, to point out that there is always a common thread that leads to the source of life itself and therefore to God. Finally, he briefly mentions, based on the lived experience, what is the true essence of Christianity.
