This chronicle describes the real dimension of the struggle that the Oaxacan people undertook in 2006 in pursuit of social justice. Its purpose was to put an end to the abuses of an authoritarian regime whose legitimacy was always in question. With a journalistic profession to all test, Diego Osorno describes the composition of the movement, as well as the trail that it left in a region that reached its limits of tolerance before the abuse of power.
