Increasingly, the concern is not only to achieve good levels of energy efficiency by improving the fabric and the system of historic homes, but also to create a comfortable and healthy environment and ensure that householders achieve affordable warmth. The energy retrofit of listed housing in relation to occupant behaviour is a pressing issue. The emphasis of this book is on occupant behaviour and developing retrofit strategies.
