Bio-char from Aromatic Plants Waste and Its Applications: a Green Coal Vineet Yadav

In this book, we have reported the physico-chemical characteristics and industrial applications of bio-char prepared from agro-waste (different parts) of medicinal & aromatic plants, viz: leaves of Lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus), Khus (Vetiver zizanioides), root of rose (Rosa damascena) & stem of Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus citriodora.). The book contains six chapters. First to three chapters deal with introduction, literature review and methodology. Chapters four to six deal with bio-char characterization, application of bio-char for carbon sequestration,as a soil conditioner and as an adsorbent. This book should be of use to scientist with an interest in the bio-waste disposals and agronomist, but is of particularly relevance to environmentalist working in the field of carbon sequestration and effluent treatment.
