Human Resource Development of Sabah: a Study of Upgrading & Strengthening of Sabah Job Centre Choo Min Joo

The study is one of the Human Resource Development of Sabah Projects, initiated by the Ministry of Resource Development and Information Technology of Sabah to upgrade and strengthen the roles, services and facilities of Sabah Job Centre at Kota Kinabalu. The Centre is responsible in providing a comprehensive and up-to-date information on technical & vocational education and training (TET) job opportunities and training, providing accurate responses to job seekers and employers? enquiries, and keeping an up-to-date database of supply and demand of TET job opportunities and training. The scope of the study was confined to pre-employment TET courses, mainly short courses at the certificate and diploma levels in agriculture, tourism and manufacturing, and employment and career opportunities for SPM school leavers.
