Inter Vehicle Communication System Using Cognitive Radio: a Novel Approach to Safe Driving Gulraiz Akhter

A research book written after the efforts and research of one and half years, under the research group of Cognitive Radio. It is a novel approach towards safe driving. In the world many Inter vehicle communication systems are under research , but all are based on fixed Radio Access technology and suffering signal loss and load balancing problem, specially in urban and hilly areas. We have first time introduced cognitive radio as a solution for reliable Inter vehicle communication system. We have proposed a Cognitive Radio site in a vehicle to make the vehicles more smart using Multi-RAT scanning, white Space sensing, white space optimization, bandwidth shifting and bandwidth management.
